Greater Intercessory Christian Church prayer ministry has been known for intercessory prayer with power and praise.

Bishop ford teaches that It’s God’s gift to us: the authority to approach His throne of grace and intercede for one another. At  G.I.C.C. we are committed to using the awesome Word of God and the unfathomable power of prayer to bring comfort, encouragement, healing, and victory to our Partners. Whenever you’re facing a situation in your life that you’d like someone to agree with you in prayer about, know that we are here for you!

Our team of prayer ministers stands ready to pray with you. Or you can always feel free to send us a note or email. We consider it a privilege to agree with you in prayer, interceding before the throne of Grace for your needs, calling on the power of our awesome God to heal, comfort, and encourage.

Mission Statement: 

 

The primary purpose of the Men's Ministry is to advance Christ-centered fellowship and accountability with God and to provide stewardship, discipleship, and leadership to the ministries of GICC F.  We will focus on growing others to their area of service to God.

 

Vision:

 

The vision of the GICC Men's Ministry is to establish a ministry of excellence that teaches men the principles of the Word of God and connects them to their identity, purpose, and mission as men in the body of Christ

 

Men's Ministry Goals:

  • Provide Spiritual Growth and Development - Make sure that every man knows his identity and purpose.  We must also

  • Provide instructions to carry out assignments based on OBEDIENCE to the Word of God.

  • Provide Instruction and Implement Strategic follow up - Plan follows up strategies. Communicate consistently and fellowship while serving.

  • Provide Encouragement - Create an atmosphere of encouragement and emotional bonds of trust. No judgment, no blame

  • Develop a spiritual readiness for potential leaders by building them up in the faith.

  • Lead men to spiritual maturity by equipping them for service 

  • Create a leadership resource for the church by winning men to trust in Jesus Christ alone

  • Strengthen the mission of the church by multiplying men as leaders

Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Women's Ministry is to advance Christ-centered fellowship and accountability with God and to provide stewardship, discipleship, and leadership to the ministries of GICC. We will focus on growing others to their area of service to God.

 

Vision

The vision of the GICC Women's Ministry is to collectively work as a team and submit ourselves to Jesus Christ and to one another so that we may help one another grow into mature believers until we all reach unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God. Our desire is to strive to become true Virtuous Women of God filled with the Holy Ghost as we serve our family, church, and community. Proverbs 31:10-31

 

Goals

The music ministry has biblical and spiritual roles to play in our worship of God. Members of the music ministry should see themselves as ministers of the gospel using the tool of music to achieve their mandate rather than be entertainers.
